YouTube SEO is one of the quickest ways to get organic high page search ranking with Google. Before you upload another video, take a few minutes to review your YouTube Marketing Strategy. Start with your YouTube Channel Theme. Click on your settings and make sure the keyword tags that there are the most relevant to your product and industry. Don’t waste precious space here by putting your company name in this box unless you (or your product) are already a well-known brand. Think of what keywords people are searching for relative you, and your product or service. The smart marketers have known all along that video is the way to really motivate people to buy. First things first: Ideally you’re the headline of your video will be congruent with your overall YouTube Channel theme. If your theme is about Time Share Vacations, then all of your videos should “talk” to that same theme. Think of YouTube as your nucleus of your spider web of video marketing, and each video as an outer ring of your web. YouTube SEO is all about keywords and links. It’s really very simple, people just make it hard. Before I create a video, I decide what my topic is, and do a keyword search first with Google keyword tool box. The title of your video or heading should correspond to actual searched phrases and keyword phrases. This is the biggest thing to concern yourself with, assuming you have a good video product. Most people don’t do this first step. They just use what they think is a “catchy” headline. What will your headline be?

The Next key thing is your keyword tags. This is the second most important step to making it big in video marketing or possibly going viral on YouTube. Some may argue that you can go viral on just a great headline (or a large social media following), but keywords allow people to easily search for your video. Be sure that your channel keywords always mirror your product category and sets the tone for all of your videos. The next set of tags will be to identify specifically what is in the video. If your channel is all about “Resort Vacations in the Bahamas”, then your first keyword phrase (or tag) could be “Resort Vacations Bahamas”. If your video was on planning or budgeting a vacation in economic times, you may use “Budgeting Planning Family Vacations Bahamas”, as your secondary keywords.

Then we come to your URL. I like to leave a little white space in the description box before I place my URL. Just skip a line first, visual effects are not part of SEO, but it does look better. The extra white space, draws the eye to it. Double check to make sure all your links are working. I cannot tell you how many times I have clicked a broken link. After you have placed your URL in the description box, say a few sentences if you can, using all of your secondary keywords.
